FUTURE PROJECT: Wired Different (coming soon)

Wired Different is a yet-to-be-published graphic novel about neurodivergent teens and the struggles they face finding acceptance, understanding, and community. We always say we’re “wired different” when speaking to neurotypical people, so I ran with the analogy and set the story in a world of robots that may or may not be a future world without humans. I have struggled with ADHD my entire life and wanted to create the book I wish I’d had growing up. While acceptance of neurodivergent people is growing, we are still misunderstood and often insulted, degraded, or dismissed. Wired Different was written to reassure my fellow brothers and sisters that no, you are not broken and you are not alone.
